Jaleo is truly one of the best ethnic cuisine restaurants in the DC area. Having twice lived in Spain, I can say that the food is authentic enough for people who know Spanish cuisine, but the tapas servings and friendly staff make it easy to bring someone who knows nothing of Spanish cuisine and have them give it a try. The sangria is excellent, and the rotating tapas menu always has new options to try. A great place for groups and a great alternative to happy hour bar food.
